Find your current class grade and what you need on the final.
Letter grades use a common U.S. scale: 93+ A, 90 A−, 87 B+, 83 B, 80 B−, and so on down to below 60 for an F. Your school's cutoffs may differ, so check your syllabus.
What if my weights don't add up to 100%?
That usually means some work hasn't been graded yet. The calculator divides by the total weight you've entered, giving your grade on everything graded so far.
What if the score I need is over 100%?
Then the target can't be reached on the final alone unless your class offers extra credit. Try a lower target to see what's realistic.
Does it work with points instead of percentages?
Convert each score to a percentage first (points earned ÷ points possible × 100), then enter it with its weight.
