Change an image's dimensions by exact pixels or by percentage.
Choose a percentage to scale the whole image up or down, or enter exact pixel dimensions. With "Keep aspect ratio" checked, changing width or height automatically adjusts the other to avoid stretching.
Will resizing distort my image's proportions?
Not if you keep "lock aspect ratio" enabled — the width and height scale together so your image doesn't get stretched or squashed.
Can I make an image larger without losing quality?
Enlarging an image beyond its original resolution will soften detail somewhat, since new pixels have to be interpolated — there's a practical limit to how much you can upscale before it looks noticeably blurry.
What's the difference between resizing and compressing?
Resizing changes the actual pixel dimensions (width and height), while compressing keeps the same dimensions but reduces file size by adjusting image quality — the Compress Image tool handles that separately.
