Turn any image into a complete favicon set: favicon.ico plus every standard PNG size.
Includes favicon.ico (16, 32, 48px) plus separate PNGs at 180px (Apple touch icon), 192px and 512px (Android/PWA).
Unzip the package and upload the files to your website's root folder, then add this to your HTML <head>:
<link rel="icon" href="/favicon.ico?v=3"> <link rel="apple-touch-icon" sizes="180x180" href="/apple-touch-icon.png"> <link rel="icon" type="image/png" sizes="192x192" href="/icon-192.png"> <link rel="icon" type="image/png" sizes="512x512" href="/icon-512.png">
What sizes do I actually need?
Modern browsers commonly request 16×16 and 32×32 PNGs, while 180×180 covers Apple touch icons and 512×512 covers Android home-screen icons — this tool generates all of them from one source image.
Why is my favicon.ico not showing up?
Browsers cache favicons aggressively. If it doesn't appear right away, try a hard refresh or clearing the site's cached data — the file itself is usually fine.
Does my source image need a transparent background?
It's not required, but a transparent PNG lets the icon blend into any browser tab or home screen background rather than showing a solid color square.
